If you've spent any time here at all then no doubt you've seen it happen.



Heck chances are it's happened to you.


No I'm not taking about the punishment chicken and the missing lard.   :facepalm:



It is this other bizarre phenomenon known as a RAK or random act of kindness.



Some people here, mad as they are, appear to derive pleasure from helping out others.

Leatherman has started making blunt nosed pliers! come to the party with a couple crackers!

Things that count as a RAK are giveaways and care packages etc, company sponsored giveaways like this one don't count.



Demand satisfaction Enter by posting a recent pic showing the item you received and name the sender.



In a few days we'll randomize all the entries and draw a winner.

My RAK was in regards to my El Spartan. It was gifted by none other than the one and only El Corkscrew. I was a very new member and just blown away by his offer to send a complete stranger a Swiss Army knife. It really let me know that this place was a really unique corner of the world.

Wish I was on the receiving end of such generosity,  I would love to receive a SAK with a saw for camping.  I want to nominate Grant in this giveaway.  I have been wanting a SAK with the Alox scales for a while, my dream is the Farmer because it has the saw. Due to financial obligations I've been only dreaming of purchasing one in the future.  Last week I won the Wenger Soldat. I can't wait until it comes in, checked my mail 4 times today. It does not have the saw, but I'm very excited to carry it once it comes in the mail. Thank you for this board and your dedication to this site.

Ah, there are so many people to thank for doing more than they needed - Zed, Kirky, magentus, Etherealicer, Sparky415, Smashie, SteveC, Poncho65, lowtech to name a few but there are many others.  But my vote goes to twiliter for sending me some sets of SAK scales - white plus, black nylon and yellow plus (seen below on one of my SAKs) - for nothing when I asked for help in buying some.  :hatsoff:
