Diamond plate! Lovin' the simple, old school materials.
And is that some sort of Harley-Davidson-esque fabric cushiony thingy, MM?

Day THIRTY

Working on a new-to-me Tamiya R/C buggy. Since one front wheel adapter was missing and the other was broken into three pieces, I needed to hold the half shafts with the Swisstool while turning the wheel locknut with a driver. The fine teeth of the ST are good for not scoring the surface of the steel shafts.
It's been a fun challenge. I'm glad we did it and I'm glad it's over. I truly enjoyed the interaction here. Thanks very much!

Day 30(60 really). Used the ST and the ST only to remove a corner desk fold down(10 screws) and pry up the misplaced wedge(chisel) to move it over. Used the pliers to pull the nail as well. Placed the wedge where it needed to be and used the ST to put it all back together. Lightly sanded and stained the whole thing and took my day 30 pic on a shelf. What a ride. I will def keep the SwissTool out of a drawer or box. It is made for work! I do want to try some other tools out I acquired in the last 60 days, but the SwissTool is SUPERB!

With help from the SwissTool, the thing is tightened and stained. The desk fold is nice and tight too, thanks to the SwissTool!

Okay, it's been a few days sense the official end of this challenge but it's not exactly over.  Due to one of the awesome participants there is more.  Saturday night when I got back into town from helping my family with things my dad can't yet do after his surgery, there was a package in the mail.  That package took some doing to get into as the item it contained was so well protected I began to wonder if it was as fraglie as a piece of ancient porcelain and maybe should have been sent to a museum.  Upon finaly getting into it I found that a new challenge was upon me.  Now I must start a new journey, one that dose not include my precoius Swisstool.   I admitt to being initialy impressed by this item but also fearfull of the days to come.  I have had a wonderfull monogamous relationship with the Swisstool now for almost 20 years.  Only my beloved Wife of almost 22 years (January 6th 1996) has seen more hardship and joy by my side and stayed there always r4eady for what ever comes next.  So now a new chapter begins Danni (my lovely wife) still by my side, but my ST put away while I attemp a new relationship with the other tool.  "Leatherman Surge"
