(Image removed from quote.)Though I stray from time to time, the Explorer Plus is my usual EDC. I pair that with a Manager, mostly for the micro phillips driver. The Manager is also nice when I am out in public and don't want to unduly frighten the lilly-livered with the main blade on my Explorer Plus. Like you, Mr. C., I could get by just fine most days with a Classic, and I understand the attraction of real minimalism. The ST300 is definitely overkill. I've been carrying it just because its fun, and it makes me feel good.
Love the S&W, what model is that??? Not familiar with J frame with drift able rear sight.
(Image removed from quote.)right now my favorite SAK tag team matchup is this SwissTool Standard and alox MiniChamp
I’m at the overkill end of the spectrum - Mini Champ and Swiss Champ.
Its a 6 shot S&W 632UC in .32 H&R Magnum. A fairly new dealer exclusive, also available in dark finish and in .38 special. https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/model-632-ultimate-carry-revolver-32hr-mag-silver-with-no-lock
I’ve been carrying some combination of alox pioneer and alox classic/alox rambler for 12 years. My current iteration, a 2018 berry pioneer I got in 2018, and a 2018 berry alox classic I got in 2021.
Ya gotta love the way alox ages! Kind of worn around the edges, but it's still there in the checkering. Looks like a great pair!
Those are different looking scales on the Minichamp. What are those?
Ah, the modded scales. Details here: https://forum.multitool.org/index.php?topic=87486.0
More and more I'm finding my daily needs met by my Alox Bantam and Rambler. I carry my Craftsman rides in my bag if I need more tools, but generally I don't.
