Victorinox Scissors Sheath

Saw this on Thingiverse

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1491202

Seems like a cool idea and since I've removed this redundant cutting tool from a few 91mm SAKs I thought about getting a pouch for one and giving it as a gift to my wife. The only problem is that they are really fiddly to use without a handle. They are slightly easier to use when attached to a keychain but ever so slightly. They are obviously still functional but really require two hands to use comfortably and accurately ::)

Has anyone tried just carrying the scissors?

not me!

I enjoy a neat keychain (2 keys, 58mm, clip) so would probably not be into it...    Seems like most of a classic is the scissors anyway so I don't see a big advantage.

The Thingi pic is 58mm but I was going to use 91mm and just buy a slip case.

Is there a seperate design for 3D printed sheaths for both 91mm and 58mm scissors on there?

I'm picturing something like this for use with Swisscard scissors. Could prove handy.

I didn't see one. Only one for the 58mm.

Lol, what's the point then? I would wager the scissors in that sheath would hardly be any smaller then a classic.

TSA compliance maybe
Honestly it is a silly idea as there are plenty of small scissors that work better than handle-less Vic ones.
