UK Legal Wingman
on: October 03, 2017, 03:47:12 PM
Just found a video in the Multitool.org facebook page to mod my wingman to add a washer so the lock doesn't engage. UK legal  :like:

Be trying that later if I can find a small thin washer  :tu:

Honestly, this sounds hazardous. . Without even a slip joint, sounds like a accident waiting to happen..

Is it the inhibition of the locking feature that makes it UK street legal? So OHO itself does not make a knife illegal?

What about other, non-OHO locking blades (such as on the ST (both :D i.e. Super and Swiss), Blast, Fuse etc.) - legal or not?

(Just asking - relatively frequent visitor. So far I've been cautious and only brought a non-locking SAK).
Thanks!
Cheers!

Not.  It's locking that's problematic (and anything over 3" in length).  More here: https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,8384.0.html

Just to be clear, I think:

It's locking that's problematic (OR anything over 3" in length).

Aye, that's what I feared. I'll stick with SAKs then...

Probably best DT - or get a Gerber and mod it to be bladeless - I love my MP400 and it's totally UK legal.  :salute:
