At an MTO meetup a few years ago now, Sparky415 gave me a large frying pan. It had been on the camp fire most of the weekend cooking every meal generally being an asset, and for some reason Tony decided that I should take it home with me.
Since then, it's lived in my Land Rover every camping trip I've been on. It's travelled tens of thousands of miles all over the place with me, and generally been a huge asset. It's cooked meals for loads of different people because despite being far to big for one person's meal, when cooking as a group it comes in to its own. I'm not too precious about it, but it's become one of those things that I cherish and am frequently grateful for. Everything from breakfast bacon to evening stews, it has its place.
So thank you Tony, it was a bit of a random gift but it is used frequently and has been appreciated by many people in many countries.
I was going to thank you in person at this year's meet but work commitments decided that wasn't to be.
