Acid wash OG wave and Juice
on: November 25, 2017, 05:51:13 PM
Having some free time on hand today. Finally got the chance to experiment with acid etching again. The OG wave turn out pretty alright.
Got over zealous and last min disassembled a original Juice C2. Etching was OK but reassembly with added tools was not..  Attempted to add in scissor and saw with the spare parts I have. I tried to reuse the original rivet I had from a CS4 but ran into some issues with it bending during peening... Gotta take it apart again tmr...

Thanks Poncho. Unfortunately during the fitting today, I broke the tiny pin from the scissors.... So that have to go. Got to try some other configurations..

After a day's battle with rivets and barrel screws, I lost and gave up...  Decided to get lazy and just locktite the screw and nut for the time being and grind off the excess... Quite happy with the end result.. Lost the scissors but I have a mirca with me all the time. So I guess thats not too important. Cheers!

I didn't, all are stock tools.. The plier head tip were damaged, so I took out about 0.5cm of it. Then I realise it interferes with the closing of the pliers, it keeps getting stuck with the internal drivers. Quite abit of trial and error were done to make sure after blunting, it closes properly.
