So are you tempted? I just got my first Spirit X a couple of weeks ago, and went back and got another because they were on sale locally for $80. So I don't really NEED the regular Spirit  :facepalm:

Im tempted, i have the X, i dont need it, and i have spent a ton of money on presents, but since in my opinion it it the best MT ever made it is tempting......

I've got two pluses and an X, so not really  tempted. It is a decent price if you are OK to wait for massdrop to ship.

Massdrop is a group buy company. They negotiate prices from vendors for bulk orders, then take pre-orders. Once the sale period is over and if they have enough orders, they charge you and pay the company. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to get the product, sometimes a few months, depending on whether or not the product is already stocked by the vendor or being manufactured and then shipped. Estimated ship date is Jan 2, 2018, so probably coming directly from Victorinox.   

I have bought from them about twenty times. If you see something you like and are willing to wait for it, good vendor.  :tu:

The drop still has a few more days, and I ended up ordering one today. I am enjoying my Spirit X that I got, and it's going to be hard to find a regular Spirit at this price again.  I'm sure I'll regret it within the next months if I don't get it.
