My EDC, a discussion and Badge Request

In the following picture, I will attempt to demonstrate that I carry Titanium, a flashlight and Fire Making Gear. Some of which is adorned with lanyards that that I have tied myself using Paracord and beads.

I think the SAK is custom made and the light a (2017) LD12?

In the above picture you can clearly see:

1. My SAK Super Tinker with Ti scales from Symph 007
2. An Exotac fire steel
3. A FENIX RC05 rechargeable Flashlight
4. The Lanyard on the BUCK Alpha was tied, by myself, using 550 Paracord with a combined snake knot ended with a crown knot. You’ll notice that I have inserted a bead; for good measure. I have also whipped the ends using twine; again for looks and to slow fraying.
5. Lastly, you’ll notice that I also carry a fire making kit that includes the following:
       a.  Ferrocerium Rod mounted into Magnesium Rod Striker
       b.16x Waxed Jute Tinder Stick
       c.Waxed Fibre Cup
       d. 2x Match-striking Surfaces

All neatly stashed in a shotgun shell (12Ga).

I must add that my Symph modified Super Tinker was also slightly touched up by another member here Michel M. Michel graciously “filed” or guillochée the springs and the back of the main blade.

I really find the FENIX RC05 handy, since it is rechargeable via a magnetic connector mounted on the chassis near the head... all I need is a USB connector and BINGO...easy peasy. And hard to forget about, this ensures that my light is always ready when needed.

The one on my Olight S1R is very similar but magnetizes to the bottom :cheers:
