Addicted to the PST

Guys I am addicted to the PST's. I cant buy enough of them. Everytime I see one I have to look at it closer. I just bought another one from a guy today at work that wasnt even expecting to sell it. I saw it looked it over and said "what do you want for it". Damn good price.

I need to take another photo of all of them together.

O well it could be worse I could be addicted to crack.......

I don't which is more worrying:

1) The fact that you are addicted to some pieces of metal or;

2) I understand completely, and am possibly just the same (or maybe even worse).....

The thing is, in perhaps the same way as the SAK, the PST is a design classic. In it's closed state, it is reassuringly solid, almost like a steel bar, it's compact and sort of beautiful. Even though just about every aspect of it has been technically surpassed by a variety of manufacturers (including Leatherman themselves), there is something about it's simplicity that will never be captured again. It is usefulness personified. It is perfect.

I will have to get pics tomorrow the camera is currently occupied. I do have one that has no Leatherman markings at all on the one of the handles. Just bought it today. Never seen that before.

I've got two newer style PSTs in clampacks. I paid $40 + tax, I'd be happy if I could get $40 + shipping. I'm not sure if they are worth it though. I tried selling two others that I had and didn't get any takers. I would also consider trades, especially Victorinox stuff.

I will have to get back to you on those. I really havent paid over $20 a piece for my other ones. I do realize these are brand new so let me stew on it it. I unfortunately have no Vic stuff to trade.
