Back from my Leatherman quest
on: November 08, 2008, 10:25:22 AM
Well I seem to have been testing LM's since the middle of October , it started with the Skeletool and ended with the original Supertool . Now its time to return and spend some quality time with the Swiss stuff  :D Victorinox will always be my No.1 brand but due to the nature of my mutlitool hobby and this forum other tools interest me too and lets face it LMs are good  ( maybe not best though  ;) ) .
What better way to celebrate my return then the purchase of Farmer   (Thanks Micky ) which will be paired with a Spirit today  :multi:

Yep he takes the pics on those posts, poor posts take an absolute beating from his tools :D

Definitely worth getting a Spirit Tanker, they are top quality.

you know Dunc's "post" pics seem to comfort me now,
like an old comfortable chair or a broke-in shoe
(with a knife sticking out of it) :D

Great pic and a nice pair.  :)

What did you think of the old Supertool?  I ask as I used mine for the first time, in a long time, today and found getting the driver out a PITA.  Still a great tool as I love the size but showing its years I think.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I got a Farmer in red recently, and it's very, very nice. So I can definitely appreciate the combo. All I need to do is get a Spirit now  Perhaps Father Christmas will bring me one if I'm a good boy  :D

If the Swisstool and Spirit didnt excist then the Supertool would see alot of EDC but like you said it does show its age but on the other hand its a classic that demands alot of respect , like a vintage car .
