That swedge looks a bit different than the one I had, what vintage is that one? Has the blade been changed since the CarbonV blade?

Mine is the current model Trail Master San Mai III. The San Mai version is different from the "regular" Trail Master because where the regular Trail Masters are made of solid (1 layer) steel, the San Mai versions are laminated (three layers of steel).
