Is this a common problem with Evogrips?
on: February 03, 2018, 03:18:45 AM
I just ordered these evogrips for my girlfriend and myself, and both of them have the same exact problem. The saws don’t close correctly. On both models the saw closes on the spacer, causing it to chip and dull. Is this a common problem? Am I doing something wrong when closing it? Seems odd to me. Thanks for any input.

Bought them brand new? You can always return it.

Otherwise, the saw might be slightly bent... try bending it back gently

I don’t have an evogrip with a saw implement... but expereinced the same issue on one 91mm sak...

Yeah I bought them brand new and will be returning them. Just thought it was weird how both of them came that way.

I've got a Vic marked Evo18 and I don't seem to have that problem.

Will check to be sure...

Nope.
Falls perfectly in between.
So I'd return those if I were you.

Looks like someone had too much pressure when pressing the scales on. Returning seems like the best alternative.
