Victorinox Explorer
on: February 24, 2018, 06:45:49 AM
Many thanks to magentus who graciously sent me a replacement toothpick, tweezers, and mini screwdriver for my Vic Explorer.

Tonight while watching TV I decided to put a lanyard on it for no particular reason at all, I think it turned out OK. Also pictured is my pocketwrench 2 that I got in the mail today.

I think they make a nice pair.

Sometimes life leaves a hundred dollar bill on your dresser, and you don't realize until later that it's because it screwed you.

That's a great combo  :tu:
The Explorer was the very first SAK I ever owned - still have mine to this day. What's more surprising is that I still think I made the right choice back then.

The Explorer model  and Victorinox's Multitools are the only items that tickle my fancy. None of the other current range appeal. Tho' I admit I adore some of the crazy stuff that they released years back, Sport Ratchet, AutoTool, Butane Lighters  love those radical years.

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

My first SAK was also an Explorer.  I bought it in 1978 when I was 15.  I still have it and frequently carry it.  I just recently put on new scales.

Thats a wonderful combo.  I'm also a fan of the Explorer, heck I'm a fan of the PW2 as well.
