I feel such a amateur looking at everyone's collections  :like: :like: :like:
Show us yours.  :pok:
Here you go Pablo
my huge collection of three SAK knives
That’s the same size as mine if you discount the ones that I don’t use.  :D
And since 50% of mine are modded, aka “Pabloed up”, I bet your collection is worth more. :D
Not to mention that I have only ever bought 2 SAKs new.
This has put me to thinking...

I bought the MTO PX and a Cybertool 41...

Oh, also a Spartan a few years ago as a souvenir before I got into collecting.

I think the other 41 were bought second hand or received as a gift...
Where is this train of thought leading to?
All I know is that it’s leading to Interesting Town.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

It leads to the point where I realise that I've got some AWESOME SAKs while almost none of them were bought new.

Discontinued is always fun to own.

Here's a better overview pic:

Here was the Victorinox part of the family tree a few weeks before I joined MTO. This group shot today would be twice as big...

I really gotta do a pic of the Wenger side of the tree one day...

Someone also requested my SA bayonets a while ago... Too much work :D

Adding a few shots from today of my board of Executives and Directors. There's always an ass in these group shots... Note the variations of orange peelers. One has a straight edge... Another has twice as many serrations as the rest... The red cellidor seems to have been machined on the other side as the rest...

Good pics Syem!

Here's a family photo/group shot of my collection. The photo is a month old and already outdated :)

You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

Hehe, here's my Victorinox collection after several years here.
(Image removed from quote.)
(Does not include a Fireman that belongs to my Granddad, or my little box o' parts)
And before you ask, no, I haven't forgotten to take out any tools on the SAKs in the photo.   8)

I consider the top left SAK to be the most interesting, then the bottom right one.
My users are the Rambler, the alox, the bottom right one and the 4 way screwdriver from the swisscard.

My non-Victorinox plier-based multitool collection is even smaller, with two members. :P

How did you managed to be here this long and only have those SAKs?!

 :pok: :pok:

By making my own “near perfect” models?  :D

I have a small box of sak pieces that is not pictured.

If I got rid of the white climber and swisscard, I wouldn’t notice much of a difference, practically speaking.

I made the SAK with the fishscaler for laughs.

As for the other three, I’m carrying them right now. 8)

I’m looking for a birth year alox and then my sak buying will be done.:tu:

1999, and it has to be in good useable condition, for edc. So marks and such on the scales is ok, scratches on the tools is ok, but I’d prefer that the tools be undamaged.
I’d say good condition.
If you can show me some pictures of what you define as “good” I can narrow it down for you.

There's a guy selling two for CHF 120 each. Wenger 99 no bail tho. Seem in perfect condition but that price is outrageous if you ask me. Ends in 6 and 7 hours respectively but if you want one at this price I can do the purchase then forward it to you. Orig. Militär Sackmesser Wenger, Jg. 99

Otherwise I'll keep an eye out.

There are a few pieces that I'm extremely happy about :D

There's actually on missing from this pic. I recently got a box-less snow leopard from the nature series so there should be two in this pic. I'm not sure where it is though... Must be lost in the Vic "to sort" box.

Well it's more of a buffer box... I put most new acquisitions in it. I make individual pouches for them then I register them in my DB and write the ID on the pouch.
Sometimes I keep some in there because the current storage for that category is in need of upgrade (my box of 58mm knives has been full for a while... Yet they keep coming :D).

Im not yet done with my Vics (especially with the 90 new ones from a few weeks ago) and I have not even started on the Wengers :D up until yesterday I didn't know how many I have. Not counting the 2 business tools, there's 199 in the pic so with the 1 missing that should be a nice and round 200.

Oh btw I made a video of the Wengers. Same thing as the pics but I got the pics up through tapatalk so quality is a bit crap. Video can go up to 1440p :D
