Dear Victorinox...
on: March 20, 2018, 05:00:47 AM
I recently got an old swiss army knife, with the very old style scissor spring, the single bend kind. The spring was, of course, broken.

So, after looking around on the web, and not finding a way to get one of the old springs, I sent a message to Victorinox a few weeks ago. And... nothing happened. No response.

I forgot about it.

Then, today, in the mail, I got an envelop from Victorinox with a replacement scissor spring. It's not the single fold kind, but it's an older style. It doesn't have the newer scoop dent thing that slots into the newer version scissor handle. So... wow.

I thought that was very cool. Also, after getting it, I went through my junk mail, wondering if maybe a response got sent into junk. And it did. It was just an automated "your message has been given a ticket number" kind of reply, but still.

This was some very nice customer service from Victorinox. I am one very happy customer.

Nice, always good to hear.

Kershaw (KAI) did the same for me when I asked if I could buy some replacement screws.
