It is okay.  Not as solidly built as the
Kershaw.

Hard to find, but they sometimes turn up on US Bay of thieves. They have also been branded as Snap-On and Profi-Star.

The curved jaw variant without the OHO blade (Sheffield "crocodile") is slightly more common, but not seen that often these days either.

Which variant ?  They made a "close-ish" copy with straight jaws and a "sort-of" copy with curved jaws.

Also which particular tools are important to you (so I can test them out for you)

I'd be more interested in the straight jawed copy, because they seem to pop up more readily on eBay. The Vise grip jaws and the wire cutters  - for stranded copper wire - are most important.
