The A-B-C's of knives...............

Put this little collection of knives together tonight for fun. As I can only post 4 pictures at a time this will be a little long so please bear with me.
Selected one knife in my accumulation starting with each letter of the alphabet.

Thanks to all who replied.I figured I would give it another run with some slightly different ones.
#1 Aitor Spain multi-blade with beautiful stag handles.
#2 & #3 Precise Big Paw. Although the handles on this knife are extremely thick(see #3)it is surprisingly comfortable to hold and use.
#4 Crosman 932A folder. The same company that makes pellet guns made pocket knives for a couple years.Not a big seller.

#2 ECS 2000. Not sure if that is the maker or a military specification.
#3 Frost # 17-063GB one armed man's knife. Unusual to see a knife this large in the pattern.
#4 Gigand folder designed by Dr. Fred Carter.A high quality modern liner lock knife.

#1 A Hubertus take down picnic knife.
#2 An Imperial Ireland miniature lockback(25 cent piece is about 1 inch in diameter for reference).
#3 A Jewelry Cutlery & Novelty Co. pull ball switchblade.Some idiot thought the handles were gold and acid tested it in a couple places! Blade has a file edge cut into both sides.
#4 F.A.Koch 4 blade pen knife with fancy pearl handles.

Another Xelite TP-29 style electrician's knife.
A Youle pearl handled(and pearl letter opener blade)letter opener knife probably from the mid 1800's.
A Zippo money clip that is actually for golfers.The,"blade" is for grabbing golf tees and the two tabs are ball markers.The same handle was also used to house a knife and manicure blade.

And so ends my alphabet knife post. I can't do any more complete alphabets but came come close! Hope you enjoyed them all.

I saw that one Steve. Nice knife and an even nicer story;thanks for sharing it. That is what knife collecting is to me;all about the story behind the knife. I started writing a book about the stories behind some of my more memorable knives some years ago. Still trying to bet back to finish it.
