No joke, one time I was out fundraising with my Sister (so just the two of us at the time).
I was wearing a slightly girly black long coat.
We knocked at someone’s house, asking if he wanted to buy a ticket etc yadda yadda and he said nope.
We started to depart, and his last words before closing the door: “bye girls”.
An honest mistake, I’m quite sure, and rather funny in hindsight.  :rofl:
