Day #25

Today's companion... One layer and only one tool

Sentry, Junior, Excelsior 1-blade...
Or whatever you want to name it ...
Original camo scales BTW

I love this cute simple knife :like:
Wow! That's cellidor, right? Really cool one but it must be easy to lose in the woods :D

I'm enjoying this thread and the pictures but I must admit reading back I'm really struggling with the your not being fond of Lindt admission Syem !! They don't usually last long in my household  :2tu:

There are much better chocolates in Switzerland than Lindt Even only looking at industrial chocolate brands like Lindt. Lindt will beat any British industrial brand (sorry guys, none of those I've tasted even came close) and probably American or French ones (haven't tasted them all but still). For most people the preference is mostly a matter of childhood memories but among other chocolate addicts around me I've never found and Lindt lovers.

Day 236

Victorinox Recruit

Another "modern" one with a big inlay. I'm growing fond of these knives... Almost to the point of considering a Spartan-only month for the next 30 days... We'll see :D

Yes cellidor scales, and you're absolutely right... It's so thin that wouldn't be easy to find it even in the grass ::)

You should advise us about Swiss chocolate in case we can go to Switzerland :D :tu:

Day #26

Today this S. Tinker helped me to prepare a support for a little boy.

I have a couple of little oaks and next spring will go with my daughters to give them a new place to be. :like:

Mighty oaks from small acorns grow  :tu:

I would agree about Lindt being better than anything here, i would imagine there are some small chocolatier shops there that are 10 times nicer though

Thank you VICMAN. Great support all these days.

Are we still in the 84mm challenge??  ::)
:pok: "S" For Small .... Otherwise it would be a Salesman, wouldn't it?  I don't remember having a Salesman :D

Sorry for the confusion, I should have written it properly.

Day 237

Victorinox Recruit (or Tourist... If yesterday's was a recruit :P)

Bit stiff, requires some TLC but it served me well today while repairing my electrical skateboard.

Well this is one of the "pressed" shields... The inside "paint" is mostly gone but it's not as bad as a missing inlay.

Gorgeous! You don't risk loosing these shields!
Were the black ones part of the anniversary editions like the red ones with the same pattern?

Day 238 (better get the next topic ready!)

Victorinox Tourist

Advertising piece, nothing extraordinarily special about it but I've always enjoyed these shields in the back sides.

And a composite of the two. I can never get them good enough on my phone that I feel comfortable with posting them but this time here goes anyway:

On the important subject of chocolate I quite agree that childhood memories are probably the thing that matter. I discovered Lindt late in childhood and it's probably a good thing I didn't get hold of better chocolates. Mind it makes really good stuff memorable and a treat. YMMV as usual

As far as I know.... They were made a year later 2010 with the same pattern in black. With luck you still can find them.
