Leatherman Signal Stainless steel new colour!

Received my SS Signal today!! Its really gorgeous! It quickly made me forget the hole it made in my pocket.   :D Worth every penny!


Upon receiving the Signal, I made very careful inspection of it due to the recent not so QC of the QC dept.. Glad to report the lock ups are perfect on my example.  :tu:

Its a Stainless semi polished finish on BO implements. The finish is very similar to those on a wingman/sidekick. I like it, as it does not scratch easily like a Wave. Well done on the choice here LM!




To open the tool, naturally I reach for the clip to unlock the handles. To my surprise, Its not there anymore. I didn't know they change the way the lock works. Now its just a snap open and close by a "spring" latch.. More on this later..

Now... back to the new lock on the handles. Its strange to me that the new "snap lock" closes with a snap but its rather weak when it comes to holding the handles together. I had to take a closer look on this...


Some freaking staff decided to innovate and install the clip upsidedown....... :facepalm: I guess my piece was too perfect, so its a new requirement screw it up somehow... QC eh?....



Thankfully the clip was easy to remove and reverse.. Thank you LM.. :twak: :twak: :twak:
