Not for the faint-hearted
on: September 01, 2018, 08:38:25 PM
This video shows the death of a Ranger. Beware, this content is pretty graphic and may cause long-term PTSD later on... I wonder what kind of a sick $#!? would record this utmost tragic incident... My condolences to the Ranger...

Well... probably one of those hundreds of pathetic retarded morons who like to destroy, smash, break, blow stuff up (lots of vids on different stuff), most likely cause they haven't got talent or competence for anything else in their pathetic lives, nor to build, fix or create anything, so they have fun destroying stuff....

Yes... i'm extremely rude and vicious with words when it comes to imbeciles like that... :poh: :wait: :megaslap: :crash:

I've been a curious guy all my live, love to find out how things tick, taking them apart and putting them back together, and i'm always fixing stuff all the time, so i really go ballistic when i see idiots destroying things for no reason at all other than "they can"...

Sorry for the rant guys...

It’s just a SAK, guys.  :tu: No need to get in a tiff.  :D

I for one was disappointed that it made a “puddle” spreading all over the place instead of being squashed straight down.

I swear, I'd pay to do that to the box of Red Army Knives I have--they're all junk that at best, can be used as a door stop. But an actual SAK, it's just some dipstick wanting attention.

It makes me wonder, as both a farmhand and with training in industrial maintenance (making a focus on the electronic parts such as the sensors and PLCs), how many SAKs have helped fix hydraulic equipment?

Agree with MacGyver.

There's no imagination in this, nothing positive to add to the world. Just a cheap, braindead thrill.

A waste of a perfectly useful tool. Better if he put his  in there!

Stupid move. Does the warranty still apply for this flanger?

How about destroying the press? Let's put some very fine sand into the mechanic itself.

Yeah, it's called Carl Elsener flying over here and beating this fool over the head with a shovel. Then proceeding to run over the press with a CAT D-9.   Well, probably not, but that should be the policy.

In full honesty, I will say what my reaction was.

1. A second or two I was slightly amused.
2. Then I came to my senses.
3. Agitation set in for a moment.
4. Ticked off about wasting a SAK.
5. Logic set in and I realize there are so many SAKs in existence, this wasn't worth being bothered by.
6. Thought about making a pointless post about my reaction.
7. Made a pointless post about my reaction.

Now, for those of you who don't know, Don Pablo probably made that video.. :pok: :D

I would be a little upset if this was a rare SAK and/or there weren’t enough for everyone who wants one to have one.

Neither of these is true, so I am not upset.

FWIW... My cause of  "upset-ness" wasn't mainly just because it's a sak (rare or not), it was because the principle, i have a really low threshold of tolerance for human stupidity, and idiots destroying things just for the sake of destroying, for absolutely no purpose at all, for a childish cheep thrill, and shooting videos of it to show their stupidity to the world just fits in that category.
They are, to me, no more than pathetic stupid little misbehaved children (regardless of they're actual age).
For the record, i stand by every (vicious) word I've said earlier. And believe me, i was very restrained in my comments.....

I understand the disdain for the behavior. However, I would caution a step back, as there isn't much that anyone can do about it. I also belong to a wrist watch forum, and another member found a video, where a petulant smurfadore' and his son destroyed a REAL Rolex Presidential to compare its' quality to a fake that they subsequently destroyed as well.

Human nature is interesting and ridiculous at the same time. I find the inclusion of destructive behavior to be purely illogical. But, on the other hand, I accept some people need to see the world burn to feel alive. All anyone who has disdain for that behavior can do is decide not to partake.  :ahhh
