greetings from Durban,South Africa
on:
September 03, 2018, 05:18:43 PM
hello eveybody.
i am humayd a r mahomedy [aka harm].
i recently rekindled my interest in Victorinox SAK's,and found my way here.
my interest in SAKs started with Macgyver, back in the 80's,my 1st sak was a Classic.
i acquired and gave away a few [1 was a Handyman],lost 1,and currently have a Climber and Deluxe Tinker.
i also got into the pliers multitools,by way of a Bucktool in the 90's,then a Leatherman Wave,Surge,Supertool,Wave 2 [gave the Wave to my son],Style [i think, its the tiny keychain tool] and Micra,
thanks for having me

Leatherman lineup,a Style and the Wingman in my wife's,the Wave and Surge 2 is my son's,the rest are mine.
the Supertool is the 1st of my Leatherman "collection" [tools that would be different to edc tools],something i plan on expanding in the future.

i made a kydex sheath for my Micra [saw that on another forum],the D shackle pin fit through the eyelet, adds to the bulk but gives me other options.

my Climber is a bit beat up,used it for all sorts of tasks, broke the can opener, and small blade tip. it's probably around 18 years old.

the Deluxe Tinker is a recent acquisition [maybe a couple weeks]. it's still in the "new toy" phase, but has seen some light use already.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible
"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
