wait, I just answered my own question. They are not magnetic. I was just working with a needle that's been magnetized.
I just checked my OHT and its not magnetized. Shame, that would have been nice.

To my knowledge, the only tools that actually were magnetized on SAKs have been the Phillips screwdriver on 58mm knives, and, sometimes, the tip of Vic's fish scaler.Is this correct?

Possibly the straight pin too?Yes on the 58mm. I am looking at the minichamp and because it is magnetized you can use it as an improvised compass. I don’t know on the fish scaler.
