Sure, write 12:00 on it and twice a day it is far more accurate than the Accutron :P

Well, taking an old design, bringing it back as a "retro" or "nostalgia" design, and then really jacking up the price seems to be a big thing as of late, and in everything.


I found this article there too. By "entry-level", that means no more than $200 in terms of mechanical watches these days, with what I'd call a good entry-level mechanical watch being a Vostok at around $50. Cheapest watch on this list is a $365 Tissot, and many watches here being more than $1000.

Entry automatic  is Seiko, Orient, Invicta - I have models from all 3 and they are working fine
I also have the Vostok which also works fine but it is a bit agricultural

True...but for the cheap price, I wouldn't even worry about water entering. On a more expensive watch...I would worry.
