Sorry Pablo I've been out of the term paper writing business for many years now.  My first year of college I had an English term paper assigned that could be about anything that was due at the same time as a history paper that had to be on something historic. So, I wrote one really good history themed paper and used it for both classes.  I thought it was good time management because I put forth 100% effort in about 75% of the time that writing 2 different papers would have taken.  Over the span of my years at college and university I used the basic framework of that paper at least 6 times. I changed the focus to fit each class and added current sources or deleted obsolete sources, and I expanded it to meet the length requirements of more advanced classes wanting longer papers.
That was, of course, back in the day when they were called term papers because you had to turn them in on paper.  Now a days you turn your "reports" in electronically and not only can each professor see what you've turned in to your other professors, but they scan your work against anything else filed electronically across academia, and if you turned in identical or similar papers they say you have plagiarized other authors or yourself.   I feel this is an impossible standard because every grouping of words on a given subject has potentially been used already by someone somewhere and these programs haven't been perfected yet so they even pick up page numbering as plagiarism because others have numbered their pages that way.  The big thing for me though is how can you plagiarize yourself if it is your original work?  My college professor friends tell me you just can't do that anymore so that's that.

Is there not sort of plagiarism limit? Like if one sentence is similar to another piece of work, that’s ok, but is the whole paper is similar, that’s not ok?
