This will work right?
on: October 01, 2018, 05:37:47 PM
I recently got a SS Wenger Esquire.  I have a Wenger PTC.  I was cleaning the SS Esquire in warm soapy water.  When I went to retrieve the SAK the scales were no longer connected  :dunno:.  Clearly the epoxy that once held them on failed.

SO,  I thought it would be awesome to epoxy those SS scales onto my PTC  :woohoo:.  It'll work right?

DOH,  I'll loose the T&T .  Hmm.  Hmmm.   Hmmmmm.  Gosh I am so indecisive.  Hmmm.

I say go for it.

Unless you´re running around naked with the PTC on a necklace, there are a myriad ways of carrying t&t (and many of them totally unrelated to SAKs).

While they're off, any chance of a pic of the insides please?  :salute:

Sorry, I meant the inside of the scales  :salute:

I already have a stainless PTC, but don't know what the inside looks like, to consider the ins and outs of converting to T&T compatible

Well, I got scared and put them back on the Esquire.

@aimlesswanderer  The insides are concave.  I also thought there might be a way to add T&T but it was far beyond my skill.

There is a decent picture borrowed from fleabay.

EDITED post.

Listing removed...   :(

Not to worry, buddy. If they just mirror the outside, I think there might be scope for doing it

I can still see it.
The picture, as far as I can see, makes it look ‘hollow’ inside.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!
