Sad to report the death of the artist Carlos Ezquerra, most famous as the co-creator of Judge Dredd but also Johnny Alpha Strontium Dog and a host of other characters.

RIP Carlos. You were a great comic artist.

Halo Jones was good, but Slaine was smurfing excellent!!! Especially Time Killer and the one after where he has a square go with a nine dimensional god... I remember those stories being so exciting (and violent) at the time. Ace Truckin though, I didn't have much truck with that... fnar fnar...

I thought he was a Briton? Murdoch was Irish (obviously) and there was a Scottish Gael who referred to him as a celtic cousin, so he probably wasn't Scottish. I need to look into this, if he turns out to be Irish, I'll not be happy*...!

I heard he was based on Cú Chulainn which would place him in Ireland. So not a Scotch.

Well... not to be too pedantic...

But, he may well have been Scotch, as they migrated from Ireland to the west coast of Scotland.  :whistle:

That is Pabs' Plasrotic Wrangler - it Pablo's the things he can't. In episode 12 he activated it in the U Boat and we all drowned. It would have been the end of the show except our future selves showed up just in time.

We've made the Wrangler safe now by sticking a bit of sellotape over the on switch - that should do it.
