Yes you’re right ulli. I make the same experience - I saw a really rare tool in the collection of a collector... I asked him, if he want to sell the item... he said no and i excepted it. After a couple of months he contacted me. I asked him why he contacted me and why he wanted to sell the tool. He said he contacted me because I didn’t think about making money...
