Torches as self defense

Besides a D cell Maglite what other torches could be used as a self defense weapon in a pinch? Guess you could put
a Surefire in your sock and swirl it overhead.

You could use a Minimaglite as a fistpack... As for my own defense I've had a Glock GTL attached to a Glock 19 C before I never had to use it but I'm sure it would have been up to the task.

Any light with a crenelated bezel would be good.  Surefire, Fenix, Lumapower to name a few.

Yep the Defender SureFire models will do the job.

I guess properly trained a person could so some damage with a strike bezel. I know I would end up getting myself into more trouble.
Strike bezels do look cool though

I really like the E2DL. It blows the incandescent away and you get a low level to boot.

wow thx prime. pictures do tell a 1000 words. That just sold me, and I though my e2d was bright the led version is blinding compared. Thank you again for taking your time and posting pics.
