For sale is the BO Spirit that l bought for the challenge last year. I only used it a few times since then so it's time to move it on.

It's in really good condition, just some minor wear on the chisel and the pliers are a little loose but not enough to affect the wire cutters. Comes with the sheath.

That is an attractive tool, and fair price for a BO version.   I thought the BO versions sell upward $175 or more new.


 :whistle:If I did not just splurged on a BO Charge a couple weeks ago, I would take that from you, as I always enjoyed your pictures of it during the Spirit challenge.

A BO Spirit is a hard to find tool, but then timing...  Good Luck !

I did not know I also could be "someone".  Yes, have been thinking about it as well.  The BO version is sweet, but never having handled one, I just could not make the leap do to my Rebar luv and other LM tools I rotate with.

I was very tempted (even though I already own a BO Spirit, be it a BO Spirit X. But by now I guess everybody knows I like to have doubles).

But I've spend way too much these last weeks and really need to walk away whenever I see something for sale, even if this means walking away from a great deal like this...

Yes, I was sooo tempted, that yesterday morning when I logged in, I was going to ask Steve for a side by side photo of the Spirit to a Rebar :multi:


If comparable, I was going to find a way.   But no, it was gone and Steve is a richer man.  Plus my respect for offering at MTO for a very good price.

Maybe, Douglas, you could satisfy my curiosity?  Just for educational purposes :dunno: so I will be better equiped if a chance ever, ever, presents itself in the future.
