91mm big blade in a 93mm

I have access to a 91mm Damascus blade and would love to add it to my 93mm mod.  I've tried a handful of springs and of course the blade sits too low on all of them.  I'm curious if any of you modders here have solved this problem yet?

I haven't tried this,but i'm envisioning the damasteel blade with your brass scales.  Are you able to make your scales in 91mm?
