I've just commented on another thread. I have a batch of moleskine at the moment that I want to work my way through before I make another purchase. I have a couple of cheaper ones too that get used as 'scratch pads' at work but a moleskine is always in my pocket.

Another little trick I used to do was take an index card and cut it up into like three pieces and store it in my wallet, I mean heck I even have a absolute mini fak and even sunglasses in it, thus why a notebook was good to counterbalance the other side, lol..
If your going to attempt your hand at leather let me know, I ain’t the best but I’d be happy to try and help..

Thanks JR any help on a first project will always be welcome.

Moleskine (3.5x5.5in) planner or notebooks in an Oberon cover have been my daily companion for over a decade, but do not see as much carry now that I’m retired.  But I always have a sheet from a Rite in the Rain notebook in my wallet or pocket organizer for just in case.
