Looking forward to this If you are talking about Silky saw from Japan, they are indeed one of the best out there, very efficient and well made.
My traditional bushcraft tools for a quick-fix shelter.
Yes, Silky. The 130mm Pocketboy I especially like.
We should meet up some time. My body isn't old but is rather disabled. I'm sure we could knock something together though. That said, perhaps no fire lighting at present. I don't want to be on the news.
I've got a couple of certificates around here somewhere that say a tree was planted in my name in Israel. If you guys really want to build a shelter you can use my trees if you want them.

Looking forward to further developments of this thread.
Who would have thought an Isreal MTO meet up could possibly happen I think this would be flipping awesome
Can't agree more with these two gents here! Since we are building shelter, does it mean it is going to be an overnighter?
I like to half-recline up against a tree or smooth boulder on a hillside. A ground pad and a wool blanket. No rain problems in summer. A quick check for scorpion nests. No state of the art high-tech equipment for me. Herb forage for morning tea. Dry, cold breakfast.
