Yeah, Ray, I think we are going to run this in January.  :tu:

I want to do the Discontinued SAK challenge, too. And January gives some folks a chance to pick up a 112.   :tu:   :pok:

The fun at MTo seems never to end....  :D

I've asked SteveC to remove the poll from the thread. At this point, we're set for January, and I for one am looking forward to it!  :ahhh

Perhaps a more ornate 112.

When i bought this i didn't own a single Buck knife..

So i thought i would do the decent thing and not fill it up entirely with saks, i thought i should at least get a 110 to go in there, then a 101 appeared, it's now looking like i will be leaving one panel free for Bucks as another has recently arrived through my letter box, a 112  although there doesn't seem to be any brass on this one, still a 112 is a 112 right?  :D

So i guess you can count me in for Jan  :salute:

Yes that is a proper 112,it's called an Ecolite.

It's made with a recycled material known as "paperstone".

I've got a 110 with paperstone scales. It's the 110 I carry when I want to shed a few ounces.

That should be a great Ranger for you, Borg.  :tu:

Well I couldn’t wait so I ordered it in last week or so. They called and said it was in. Picked it up today and was looking at some other knives while there and put another on hold. Was looking at the fly fishing stuff and the salesman said he made a mistake on bones dollars I had saved up...the second knife I got didn’t cost cost me any thing and even knocked  some off the 112. Needless to say it was a great day!

I was wondering how it would feel as the cuts look like your fingers would wrap around it nicer. Is that the case??

I was planning on getting a more traditional looking 112 closer to the start lf the challenge.  Then Borg posted pictures of his 112 Ecolite.  Even though I knew it was discontinued, I decided to look online out of curiosity.  There was this NOS one with “make offer”.    My offer was accepted and it is on its way.
