LM extender added pen clip?

i remember seeing pics of ppl adding a pen clip or something to the extender so it doesnt fall through its sheath. but cant find it in  any searches.

anyone know where the clips come from? particular brand of pen maybe.

I am using the suspension clip with some heat shrink tube.

KoS, I used to have a clip from a wallymart cheap mechanical pencil but, I changed it for a piece of automotive vaccum hose; I think it was 1/4" (7mm) I.D. I'd rather have this since the friction it produces to hold onto the sheath's elastic loop also helps me holding or twisting the extender without the need of removing the clip from the extender when I used it as a stand-alone tool. I've had the hose (and the extender) for 1 1/2 years without ever "misplacing" or loosing it.

Mine's from a mechanical pencil too, probably an old cheap Faber Castell one. Sorry, no pic here as it's at home.

I think people have been using the clip from a Fisher Space Pen.

yeh thats i was looking for i think.

some other great ideas here though i like the heat shrink idea and mechanical pencil seems a good option.
