Used the can opener for the very first time.
Coating wears off faster than expected. Beausage.

Day 7

One wonders how you avoided puncturing the cap. My opener must be sharper than yours ;)

Well, I I used a measured, slower motion not like with a regular caplifter, perhaps that's the trick. Just for comparison's sake today I tried the one on my Charge that I had out for a quick strop, and I had a much harder time with the opener/caplifter, it did not want to grab onto the cap as nicely as the one on the PST.

I think that if I were to use an angled system, it's easily fixed. Maybe the blade is 1/8 or less short. But, the part of the blade that is not chipped I was able to easily sharpen.

And, if I wanted to, I have a spare PST II serrated blade to swap in.
Oh wow, you have a few options then! Cool

Day 7: I came across someone broken down along the highway.  When I got out to check on him, he asked if I had a pair of pliers...which I did in the form of my PST 2!  He used them to loosen a spring clamp from the heater core hose of his car.  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures.
Here is a vanity pic with the PST's companion, my PM2.
Thats a great looking PM2.  :dd:

Day 7

Got this old Stockman yesterday. The spey blade was sticking up above the liners a bit so I used the diamond file on the PST II to take a little of off the kick to lower it.

Day 7
Used quite some implements of my PST for some cutter knife maintenance today.

This is my favourite & good old reliable one...

Removing some pocket lint...

Need to buy new blade replacements. What size are these?

Snapping off the last bits to have a new useable edge....
Great maintenance!  :tu:
