I found 2 PST's here in Belgium, almost new for €30/each, a PST with sheath and a PST II without sheath. No shipping costs because somebody cameby my house to hand them over.  :woohoo:
The count is now 31  :hatsoff:

Day 3/30

Had a evening with my colleagues yesterday, bowling and stuff. Slept in a cheap motel.
Somehow it feels like every other model has a loose showerhead. Been fixing them all over the world.
Phillips to the rescue, even though it was a bit small for the screw.
As I got the older version of the tool with the more centered screwdrivers I really understand why LM did improve them. When pressing and turning hard they tend to fold in.

Over the day only minor tasks like opening waterbottles (used the whole closed tool as a lever).

Unfortunatelly no pic in action, but I made an evening shot with it inside the small Benchmade Nylon sheath I carry it in.
Nice  :like:

Day 3    :dwts:

(Image removed from quote.)

Straightening a split pin on a mower wheel for removal, a job i have done countless times over the years using everything from Spirit to Surge and many others in between, it's the first time i have ever had this happen  :(  The broken bit is the one with the tip that had snapped off previously so i can only assume it was worse than i thought and it was weakened or cracked further up also

I believe the term is, it's been Pabloed
 Oh boy!

Day 3:

Various uses today, removed some engine hatches, took down a light fixture to change an inverter for fluorenscent lights and changed a pressure sensor cable that was clamped :tu:
Great work out!

Thanks guys, i thought i might have had another one but must be mistaken, can't see another so will just continue on with this  :tu:

Not sure how this picture will come out but there seems to be a darker patch of metal, to the right of red dots which may indicate it was already fractured some time ago, split pin was the straw that broke the camels back i'm thinking

If i bought it new then yes i would send it but i didn't so i don't feel it's my warranty, hard to explain but i know what i mean, i bought it sight unseen with no warranty, i'm happy to let it go  :tu:

Day 3

Tightened the handle/tab on the cupboard and realized how good we have it nowadays with locking tools on most MT's, as the Phillips folded when I applied force from the wrong direction. No biggie, but I'll just have to keep this in mind when using the PST. Also some mail opening again as well.

Loads of great uses today.  Great photo Fuzzy, just missed your Holmsian Styled Dirty Clay Pipe, sure would have lloked good there beside another true classic like the PST.

Borg that's a tough break in every way.  I must say I admire your sense of Morals and Ethics reguarding the warranty and your steadfast commitment to seeing the challenge through.  Shows to me you are a person of TURE CHARACTER that will stand for what he belives in and not fall for anything.  :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

Spent most of the day in a cold dark room fighting a migraine so no use today, just a simple photo.
Day 3

Love this blade shape.  I've used Vic's spear point for years but this shape has always felt good when I have used it.

Sorry to see that failure, Borg.

You might try contacting Leatherman and see what they say.   :dunno:
