My four modded MP600s!
on: July 26, 2019, 12:00:17 AM
The upper left is my bitsa. It’s made with leftover parts from other mods, and it has a cheaper pocket clip than the rest. It’s bladeless and has a scraper from a sight tool. Silver scissors because that’s what I had. The head is from a sight tool.

Upper right is my sight tool. I modified it with scissors, a file, and an awl from a center drive. Swapped in a blunt nosed pliers head and attached a titanium clip.

Bottom left is my first MP600. It was a pro scout, but I stole the jigsaw blade exchanger from it for my center drive. In its place I put an awl I made from a can opener tool, and a wood saw I modded from a cheap multitool.

Bottom right was my EDC for the better part of this last year. Reshaped blunt nosed pliers, pocket clip, and the following tools from a diesel: saw, scissors, flat driver, bottle opener. The diesel flat driver is more robust and less prone to twisting or breaking. The diesel scissors are far larger. The bottle opener is shorter, and I dremeled the slides more so the entire pliers head retracts. Without the shorter bottle opener they wouldn’t be able to retract that last bit to fully hide the jaws.

Charles.

I also shimmed the handles for more splay.

Very nice, Charles! :like:

One of the best modding platforms out there! Gerber's saf-t-lock makes changing tools so much better than the tricky crap(odd washer placement and such) needed on LM(and other) tools.  :)

Sure did! I used the pliers in the sight tool and he handles in the one with the black pocket clip!
