on: August 06, 2019, 05:45:42 PM
Just saw this post on the Bay and its the first time Ive heard of the "Sturdy Boy".  Looked on the Wiki and couldn't find it anywhere.. though I could have missed it..

https://www.ebay.com/itm/c1970s-NEW-IN-BOX-Victorinox-PIONEER-STURDY-BOY-CHEQUERED-RED-ALOX-OLD-CROSS-VTG/273902139781?hash=item3fc5d6f985:g:3C8AAOSwAaRdEB9R

Any ideas why this perticular model of Pioneer is called the "Sturdy Boy"?  :dunno:

Considering the knife is worth probably about $100, maybe a little more on a good day, that's one expensive box.

 :iagree:

Although I am a bit surprised that it's labelled that way in a green/flocked liner box.
