I saw “new shield” silver Woodsmans (Woodsmen?) on the big auction site tonight and couldn’t resist ordering one. It appears it *might* have been commissioned by the same person who recently convinced Victorinox to produce short runs of the Pruner and Electrician Solos.

Anyone know anything about these?

Thanks for the additional information. I’m curious about this mysterious dealer/collector who has managed to get Victorinox to resurrect these old designs. Can his or her identity be revealed?  I owe them a “thank you.”

Anyone know how an American can order from Bugnard?  I personally like the yellow scales better, and I figure one shipment containing two or three different models (currently looking at Woodsman, Pruner, and Harvester) is a bit more cost-effective.
