So what's going to be your xmas day EDC?
on: December 23, 2008, 02:53:35 PM
So what are we all planning to carry on xmas day?  I think this year I am going to carry my Hybrid on top of all my other usuals as having children I know I will be facing those dreaded clam packs  >:D and the Hybrid makes light work of getting into them.  I may also be forced to swap out my Sebbie for my Subcom F to avoid the knife rant from my Nan.  ::)

So here's my list for xmas day;

Swisstool Spirit
Leatherman Hybrid
Wenger Clipper AT
Atwood Flat Gasbaby
Atwood FunnyBone
Boker plus Subcom F
Fenix L0D
Fenix L2D Q5
Fisher Space pen
Chapstick
Wilson Lighter
Phone
Wallet
2 x bunches of keys
Utili-key
Wenger watch
ResQMe
Smokes.

No one can say I travel unprepared!  :D

That's quite a list!

I'll probably have a copper Cadet on me if I go anywhere, and maybe a full sized multi, although I have no idea which one.  I'll just grab whatever catches my eye on the way out the door as usual!

Well I am not traveling, I did that this pass weekend. Last weekend I carried a Sideclip, PowerAssist, Nemesis Arch Ally and a Kershaw Speed Bump. On christmas day I will probably just carry my Charge or something, the blade for general chores and the pliers for removing those wire ties that hold in most kids toys so folks don't steal them.

It is, but having kids with bikes to build and lots of difficult packages to open, I like to go in prepared.  :D

I had hoped my D2 Spyderco ParaMilitary would get here in time for Christmas but it won't happen. Methinks I'll carry my Boker Trance which I've been very much liking. Reason I went for a ParaMilitary was for the bigger blade for personal EDC.

I'll be home so won't need to worry.  I shall have a few screwdrivers and some wire cutters on hand to deal with the boys toys though.  Knife jobs will be dealt with by whatever SAK is in my pocket at the time.

Since I'll be seeing my wife's family, who are living down near Wildwood(all family members are from South Philly :kickout: :duel: :mn: ).  My EDC  :multi:, for going off the reservation, would be:
BO Surge
Skeletool CX
Juice XE6(purple)
Micra(EMS green)

Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169
