Advice on deluxe tinker mod

In the search for my ultimate bladeless scissors/ pliers pocket EDC I'm thinking of modding a deluxe tinker.  I was planning to remove blade layer and on reverse side keep the Phillips and hook tool, but drop the awl.

From pics on internet it looks like I need to swap around the order if the back tools.  Are the back springs compatible with different tools?

Any other suggestions?  :-)
