I keep looking at the Artifact and telling myself I'd probably never use it :-\

I'm just not sure how much real utility these little tools have ???

I think I'll say I'm not going to use it just to get a bite out of Ben :D

Although, it would be a lie, as I've already used it a few times today, but I'm going to say it anyway.

What did amuse me was that although I'd never really looked closely at a Prybaby when the discussion with DoughDTD started, the Crony has an almost identical tool selection that I wholly agreed with! Coincidence or some kind of telepathy, I'm not sure, but what it does say to me is that the Crony could be a winning formula if the guys can get a nice finish on it!

I used to come here a lot.

I want a production finished Crony now though. Bad.

Micky, I don't think you can really compare the Prybaby (or Crony for that matter) to the artifact. The artifact just isn't that portable.

Myself, I'm finding that things I used to take for granted (like opening drink cans) are starting to become a bit of a problem when my arthritis is giving me jip. It's not the end of the world, but this here prybaby is going to make my life a lot more comfortable, and look pretty whilst it's doing it!

Shouldn't think so, they don't really do titanium do they?

In all honesty, one of those pry bar things that Ben has, (you know the ones that crop up on here periodically), would have done the job, but I thought I'd treat myself. So when Andrew (EODTech) tipped me off about them being for sale, I went for it. I'm glad I did tbh, as there are very few of these G4s in existence I believe, which makes it a bit special.

Which one is it you have Ben?

I used to come here a lot.

Not if you own one, and didn't pay anything like that for it ;)

Ben - I like the look of the funnybone, but I must resist getting into collecting these thing sat ALL COSTS. I'm simply nor rich enough.

I have the Keyton, and the G4, and I'll only be looking at others if they are really cheap I think, which doesn't seem to oliely looking on ebay at the moment.

   Not quite ;)

Perhaps I should carry one of the really big ones out of a Forester :)

I'm glad you like your new widget Dave.  I still think you should have waited a day and gone for the metric version but at least this way you can pop it safely away in a drawer to wind Ben up :P

Neil

LOl. To be honest, if I'd have waited another day, I don't think I'd have got one. Besides it's the prybar that I'll use most, can't imagine I'll need the wrench much.

I just realised its S30V not Ti. I think. Yeah.

It would be criminal to leave something so handy in a drawer.

I expect it is S30V as that is what my FunnyBone is made of.  My GasBaby on the other hand is titanium.

Yeah, apparently he has done some Ti Prybabys, but I just read his blog again, and these ones are S30V. In fact it's pretty obvious from handling it, much weightier than you'd expect from Ti.
