Can't say I have ONE.  There is only a LIST.  And I have a bad habit of buying things that aren't on the LIST. And as anyone might suspect, the LIST grows faster than items are crossed off. Or so it seems.

My Grail knife would be a Cadet with a Pen blade instead of the file. I know they are out there but they either cost too much or are beat up. I may end up modding one I have just need a donor blade.

Holy Grail for me would be the 91mm blue alox master craftsman that was made for the dutch air force (KLU). If I am correct also some were made for the dutch navy (KM). Very few were issued, and most of them are probably in the hands of collectors that will never sell them. Hopefully one day I will get lucky  :)

I always hope to find my first SAK, a Swisschamp I had briefly and lost some 18 years ago. Sentimental reasons. A very long shot, I know, but it was an uncommon transitional variation that would be instantly recognizable, and my country is small.

Regarding the Skitour -  the Wenger inline Phillips screwdriver is the most disappointing SAK tool of all time! It is too stumpy to be of any use at all.
So I am guessing that the Skitour is a lot cooler as an imaginary SAK than a real one!
I'd go for fulllbreakfast's Chernobyl-edition Cybertool any day!

There's no more production knives I want now.

I've cut down to the favourites of the ones I've had, and in time would like to cut down further. The next steps of my pocket knife journey is a series of mods I have planned, but other things are taking priority at the moment. When I get round to them, I'll give them all some carry time, and see if they'll release other knives from my clutches.

Every time I look at new stuff now, I just think, got it, had it, don't need it, or my (whichever tool) is better. The exploration phase is certainly over for me, and owning stuff that doesn't get used isn't fulfilling. Now it's more about focussing, speSmurfpillsing, and simplifying.

I LIED. Or at least I was wrong.

And I need to apologize in advance.  :-[

Because I can't tell you what it is.

And I wasn't sure it even existed.  :-\

My theory said it should.

Just a smurfing theory though.  :dunno:

I bought something that looked like it might be.

It came in the mail today.  :mail:

And I can't even smurfing believe it.   :o

It IS exactly what I thought it could be.  :woohoo:

:ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

My trouble now, is that I want to find another...or more.  :gimme:

I want to tell everyone.

But I don't want to tell anyone.  >:D

That makes me a little sad.

But only a little sad.  ;)  :D

145ka?

No, but as a side note related to your guess, I did see a pic of what I think would be a PWAR 146ka yesterday. That definitely went straight on the list. Even if I have to build one myself!

No pressure, but I do think you're the best person guess what it is. Even though it is not something on your list. Might be, once you see it or know of it's existence.

I don't think it's a Mr. Peanut or a Coca-Cola variety, it has to be something that you thought didn't exist or thought was a prototype.

SORRY TO DROP IN ON THE GUESSING GAME.   I would venture a guess but I'm lost on the subject and a little to excited about my new find.  It's making it hard to focus...

My Holly Grail Multitool would be to find the 1998 Swisstool RS still in the Blisterpack that was sold at Sam's Clubs for only a few months here in the US.  It came with the nylon pouch and a 2 AA Brinkmann tail switch Hallogen flashlight all in one Blisterpack.  If my memory serves me right I paid $49.88 + tax for that first Swisstool and it put me FIRMLY on my journey towards becoming a member of the best Forum Family on the planet.
Would be willing to pay many times that now if I could find another still mint right off the display.
Should have bought 2 and left one in the package.  Just didn't know what I was getting.

FOUND IT!!! ALMOST  :ahhh  :ahhhJust missing the bubble pack, flashlight and pouch, but oh well this is closer than none and it's in MINT CONDITION.  Still has factory oil on the joints!
