Someone’s O-U-T-! I opened their door to his little closet pad we built last week and didn’t even wake him, but he’s just spread across one of two of his beds in there..

I’d say, it’s almost twice as big as the crate he was sleeping in which he had room, heck I even went in with him to prove he had room, now the whole family can fit.. every night he would run into the bedroom go in front of the crate and get his nose into the door and slam it open and run in, well, we showed him the closet and the new bed along with his old bed and blanket, he checked it out, but when it came time that night he ran in and did a 180° cause his crate wasn’t there and the closet is behind bedroom door and he flew in and laid down, we were both shocked! But it’s what he does, even if the door is almost fully shut he’ll nudge it to get it open so he can get in to go to bed, I think I’m going to make some paracord pull and attach it to the doorknob and see if he’ll even use it..

Today was a hot day, but Fisher still wanted a walk.  We took a water and rest break at Fisher’s favorite bench.

Coco went to the vet today for her arthritis injection, whined the entire way there, then had a great old time as everyone fussed over her and gave her treats.

They said she was looking great and the medicine does seem to have given her a whole new lease on life…spent this morning’s walk wrestling with her best mate Millie the rottweiler, as they do most days, very funny to watch…they weigh about 100kg (200 lbs) between them

Molly doesn't really "do" blankets but my daughter still occasionally tries to convince her.  Her opinion is fairly clear to see I think.

Took pip for her first vaccination yesterday , had it done then was talking to the receptionist when pip started to vomit so I placed her on the floor, she then went limp, I looked at her gums and they were really pale so told the receptionist to call the vet back.
She had had an bad reaction to the vaccine so had to have a anti inflammatory injection and something else for shock. Finally after a while she came round and had some glucose powder rubbed on her gums which lifted her blood sugars. That was a scary time but thankfully she seem fine today.

cheers , the next one is in three weeks but the vet said he will have to see weather or not to give it her as she must be allergic to one or more of its ingredients.

Happy to hear your dog is ok.

Today, Tigger was not all that happy that I came around and wrapped one of her blankets around her front. This was the dirty look I got.

I must have really ticked her off...she even tuck her tongue out at me!

Oh she was. We have an interesting relationship. I like to tease and annoy her every chance I get. I know she loves it however because some mornings I forget to do our little ritual. She will remind me to greet her so she can have the satisfaction of giving me dirty looks. What a personality she has.

Fisher stalking a rabbit.  He saw it a good distance away (over 30ft) and it took me a bit to see exactly what caught his attention, because of how well it was blending in.  The rabbit let him get pretty close before disappearing.

The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
     It isn’t just one of your holiday games;

You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.

First of all, there’s the name that the family use daily,
Such as Peter, Augustus, Alonzo, or James,
Such as Victor or Jonathan, George or Bill Bailey—
All of them sensible everyday names.

There are fancier names if you think they sound sweeter,
Some for the gentlemen, some for the dames:
Such as Plato, Admetus, Electra, Demeter—
But all of them sensible everyday names,
But I tell you, a cat needs a name that’s particular,
A name that’s peculiar, and more dignified,
Else how can he keep up his tail perpendicular,
Or spread out his whiskers, or cherish his pride?

Of names of this kind, I can give you a quorum,
Such as Munkustrap, Quaxo, or Coricopat,
Such as Bombalurina, or else Jellylorum—
Names that never belong to more than one cat.

But above and beyond there’s still one name left over,
     And that is the name that you never will guess;

The name that no human research can discover—
But THE CAT HIMSELF KNOWS, and will never confess.

When you notice a cat in profound meditation,
The reason, I tell you, is always the same:
His mind is engaged in a rapt contemplation
Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name:
          His ineffable effable
          Effanineffable
Deep and inscrutable singular name.
