Hunter serrated blade

I have been looking into purchasing the 111mm hunter model and would like to know about the usefulness of the serrated "gutting" blade on the regular hunter model. Does anyone have any experience with using it that they can talk about?

I'll put a slightly unexpected spin on this one to start us off!

I use it for gutting (or at least opening up) rats for our pet snake. If he isn't showing any interest, slicing them open usually tempts him!

It does a good job of that.

Mine has also been used on the usual rabbits, squirrels and so on, no problems.

I love my Hunter and I would say the gut hook is the most used tool. Everything from mail to boxes. I played with mine to get an idea on how it works as an emergency blade. Here's how it worked.
