If I had it with me, I could have used my Crunch today when I was at Auto Zone installing a new car battery.  I brought my socket set for the terminal connections, but had to ask for an adjustable wrench like a sissy to remove the thing that holds the battery in place.  Ended up using a small, borrowed Vise Grip plier.

You know, the one that looks like a Crunch.   :facepalm:   :cry:

I guess the Crunch has been temporarily out of stock because they used its assembly line to put the ARC into full production., as LM expects high demand.

Because I like to live dangerously , I ordered a Crunch from AliExpress for $156.80.  It arrived from China in 14 days, was super well-packaged (the parcel was completely entombed in tape) and is a real, OEM Crunch.  I have a user Crunch, but being a strangeling I wanted a NIB Crunch for the Special Reserve Collection in case they spontaneously disappear from the Leatherman website someday.  AliExpress did not release the funds to the vendor until I gave the transaction a thumbs up, and I'm happy with the whole process.

Exact same thing here. This was a terrible time of year for them to say "last call forever". Forced me to put that on a cc when I have other things I need to get, but had to do it to ensure I have what I "need". 

Can't believe this is being discontinued. Leatherman, what are you thinking?  :facepalm:

Not only will it be discontinued, but its a very limited run; so sad to see the end of an era so close (as the Micra is the only one now left from the original group, to the best of my knowledge).  [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
