Day 11 - movie night with the family, been an long day with fixing the road leading up to our and the neighbors house so the best picture would have been a shovel or maybe a wheelbarrow

NB: The book on shoes and the signed Vogue one belong to Mrs Surge

Happy Sunday all (still Sunday here anyway)

I got this from the "Bay of Fleas"
It seems appropriate therefore, that it is presented to you in a "Bay Tree"  :dunno:

Day 12
I fell down the flashlight rabbit hole years ago, so today I thought I would share some of my favorite flashlights.

Starting at Top left to right then down
- HDS Rotary - Not as bright as many lights nowadays, but bright enough to get the job done and built to take a beating.
- Jetbeam RRT-01 Raptor - the newest light I own.  Its versatility is what makes it great.   Advertised as 1-950 lumen.  It comes with an 18350 (built in micro usb charging port) battery, but with the extension tube kit you have even more battery options.
-Fenix PD35Tac - just a nice practical a bright 18650 light in yellow with the Gadsden snake
-Lumitop EDC05c - A great little 14500 rechargeable 2-in-1 light.  A 500L flashlight with a built in HiCri lantern on the side.  If this light also took AA, it would be much better but still great.
- Emissar D4 v2 in titanium.  This light is a powerhouse of almost 4000L with a ramping emitter.  But beware it can get hot
- Lumitop Elfin - I love it mainly for its looks, but what is wrong with that
- Acebeam TK16 - a nice and small CR123/16340 light that depending on your preferred use comes with a throw emitter, HiCri emitter or just bright.
- Niteye Mini1 - great keychain light. 10180 with built in recharging port and dual brightness levels of 130 and 9.  There are several 10180 lights that are very similar.

Great pair of tools.  I will never understand why the SwissTool RS was discontinued, because it is such a great toolset.

  • Yoo-hoo, big summer blowout!
Oh yeah?... You know there's phone lines for that?
:D

Ok, on to a tad late DAY TWELVE
Double pics because I forgot to take something for day 11

Belated day 11:

Not being very photogenic, but this white scaled climber with a half-decent logo is actually quite nice to me.

Day 12:

My favourite mod.  :D Backside tools are corkscrew, fine screwdriver and hook.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!
