Day 16 - Story of today is about my can opener. I didn't had a lunchbox with me to work today so I grabbed some stuff from our pantry this morning thinking I would cook it there as we had predicted a slow day. Once my pasta was boiling I took down one of the cans and was preparing to grap the pull tab.. There was non! It was a long time ago I encountered a can without a pull tab so I had to look in every possible place in the kitchen trying to find a canopener (I had my work clothes on me) but I couldn't find any so of to the locker room and grabbed this one and it opened the can in a pinch while my coworker just nodded at me with a smile. I always keep a Leatherman s2 in my work clothes but it's dirty and not really food grade anymore..

And nice pics today! And congrats to everyone passing halftime

DAY 16

Today was another work day so no "action shots" due to the restricted nature..blah, blah  ::)

However, here's a couple of shots from within the sanctity of the locker room

The first is of my old work torch (Surefire G2 Nitrolon) which must be about 15 years old

The second of my "work" keys & various tools of the trade; small lock picks (jigglers) & my large 'cuff key etc.. :tu:
They don't like it up 'em!

BELATED DAY FIFTEEN
Took this photo of my paracord lanyards for day fifteen and forgot to upload.

DAY SIXTEEN
Just fixed my AAA Twistie flashlight!  Now it turns on again. The circuit board had been pushed in too much by a forceful twist, preventing electrical connection. :ahhh
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Rebar in a tree
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

Day 17

I've been tidying up and putting things in proper storage, part of that has been my multitool collection (a wooden box with non slip rubber matting, on the weekend I hope to sand and oil/stain it a darker colour to match my knife chest). So here's most of my multitool collection:

The only ones missing are a silver cadet, a classic and my Style PS (needs to be shipped for warranty repairs)

Thanks.  This one I got directly from Acid Tactical.  It is also available on Amazon, but costs more.  It comes in three different lengths, which is really the same basic jig just with 1,2 or 3 pieces

DAY 17

WFH today so, as I have no reason to leave the the Surge household, I decided to carry the the Spydie (Manix 2)

I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it on the August challenge, being a single blade etc. but, who knows  :dunno:
They don't like it up 'em!
